Pack for the verified instructions, the location, and your own access needs. Not every item belongs in every room. Use this free browser-saved checklist, print it, or save it as a PDF before an in-person audition.

Essential information Confirmed address, suite or room, arrival time, contact, and check-in instructions.
Travel, parking or transit plan, building access, and extra time for expected delays.
Requested sides or script pages in the preferred format.
Only the headshot, resume, identification, forms, or links specifically needed for the appointment.

Performance and wardrobe Simple, comfortable wardrobe that supports the role without becoming a costume.
A requested alternate look or change of clothes, packed neatly and only when relevant.
Appropriate footwear, including anything requested for movement, dance, or a safety need.
Any explicitly requested instrument, prop, or safe specialty item; no realistic weapons or undeclared hazardous items.

Personal readiness Charged phone on silent, plus a charger or battery pack if useful.
Water and any appropriate personal snack that respects venue rules and allergies.
Glasses, mobility or communication aids, medication, and other personal access items I normally need.
Basic personal-care items for comfort and a simple reset, not an oversized kit.

Safety and boundaries I verified the opportunity and location through an independent, credible channel.
A trusted person knows where I am going when that is appropriate to the situation.
If I am a minor, my parent or legal guardian is involved and the production has explained the required process.
I know I can pause or leave if the location, request, or behavior becomes unsafe or materially different from what was disclosed.
