Existing editorial reviews
Only complete, editor-approved reviews appear here. Ratings are calculated from six categories: Story 25%, Acting 20%, Cinematography 20%, Sound & Music 15%, Direction 10%, Rewatchability 10%. Each category is 0–10; headline scores round the weighted total once to one decimal. Read the methodology.
Editorial, not judging
Reviews discuss finished films for readers. Competition judging uses separate rules, eligibility requirements, and processes.
Independent scores
Payment or app membership can never purchase a better score. Each overall score is calculated from the six published category scores using our stated weights. These ratings are Spotlight Drive editorial opinions.
Corrections welcome
Factual errors can be corrected transparently. Material updates should carry an accurate updated date.
