Model Safety Checklist

Model Safety Checklist

Pause and verify whenever an opportunity, agency, photographer, client, or casting request affects your images, money, identity, travel, body, or personal safety. No checklist can verify every opportunity.

Private by design: checks and notes stay in this browser when you use the save controls. Nothing is submitted to Spotlight Drive.

Identity and opportunity

I confirmed the sender’s full identity, role, company, official contact channel, and connection to the stated project. I can describe the project or purpose, dates, location, expected work, pay or unpaid status, usage, and people responsible. I did not rely only on a display name, logo, profile photo, follower count, caller ID, or copied website.

Images, body, and boundaries

The request does not involve inappropriate or sexualized images, nudity, secrecy, coercion, or a sudden boundary change. No one is pressuring me to diet, lose weight, alter my body, falsify measurements, or accept unsafe appearance advice. I know why each image or measurement is requested, who will receive it, where it may appear, and how long it may be used. A shoot or meeting location is professional, expected, and independently verifiable; I have a safe travel and contact plan.

Money, contracts, and accounts

No one is asking for gift cards, cryptocurrency, money forwarding, a fake-check deposit, passwords, one-time codes, or private account access. Any ordinary fee or professional expense is clearly disclosed, optional where represented as optional, and not sold as a guaranteed booking or representation result. I will read contracts, releases, commission terms, expenses, usage, territory, duration, renewals, cancellation, and payment details before agreeing. I will get qualified help when a legal or financial term is unclear.

Privacy, travel, and minors

I am sharing only the minimum information needed for the current verified stage. I will not send government IDs, banking data, private school details, home address, or confidential media through an unverified channel. A trusted person knows the plan, time, location, contact, and expected return; I have my own way to leave. If I am a minor, a parent or legal guardian is involved in every communication, casting, meeting, contract, payment, trip, and image-use decision.

When a check fails

Do not let urgency make the decision for you. Stop, preserve messages and URLs, verify through a separate official channel, involve a trusted professional or guardian, and decline or leave if safety cannot be established. Report concerns through the relevant platform and review Spotlight Drive’s Trust & Safety Center. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Return to Modeling Starter.
